Overview
You can permanently delete your HubHive account at any time. Deleting your account removes the data associated with it from HubHive and cannot be undone.
Because HubHive accounts are secured with your phone number, deletion is confirmed with a one-time code sent by text message to the number on your account. This makes sure only you can delete your account.
Delete your account in the HubHive app
- Open the HubHive app and sign in.
- Go to your profile, then open Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete Account”.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
- Enter the confirmation code we text to your phone number.
- Your account and data are deleted and you are signed out.
Delete your account on the web
- Sign in at hubhive.com.
- Open Settings from your profile menu.
- Under “Danger Zone”, select “Delete Account”.
- Confirm, then enter the code we text to your phone number to finish.
Request deletion by email
You can also request deletion of your account and associated data by email — for example, if you can no longer sign in or access your phone number.
- Email privacy@hubhive.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
- Send your request from the email address on your account, or include the phone number on your account, so we can verify it’s you.
- We will verify your identity and permanently delete your account and data. We respond to verified deletion requests within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete the data related to your account, except for a limited amount of data that is required for the app to continue functioning properly — described under “What we may retain” below.
Your profile and content are removed from public view immediately. Backups and security logs that may contain residual data are purged on a rolling basis, normally within 90 days.
What we may retain
We retain a limited amount of information where it is required for the app to function properly for other members — for example, to keep shared conversations, group activity, and transaction history consistent for the people you interacted with.
We may also retain information where the law requires it or to protect the HubHive community — for example, records needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse. Any retained data is kept only as long as necessary for these purposes.
